Established in 2019, the Riceup Irrigators and Farmers Agricultural Cooperative began with a dedicated group of farmers from Lubao and Floridablanca, Pampanga. The cooperative was formed to address common challenges in irrigation and farming by pooling resources and working together. Managing over 800 hectares of farmland, the cooperative aimed to enhance productivity and secure better livelihoods for its members through collective action and advocacy.
The inception of the Jubilee Community Cooperatives (formerly known as JCC) arose from the collective vision of cooperative members who espoused the perspective that the principal duty of fostering cooperative development primarily resided within the purview of the private sector. This ideological foundation underscored their commitment to establishing a cooperative entity that would empower its members through collaborative efforts within the private sector, aiming to catalyze economic growth and socio-economic progress within their communities
